Titan again collided with the barricade on a tope in a third (for the third straight match between these two), but was able to get his foot on the ropes this time. Averno gave Titan many Devil's Wings, but Titan surprised him with a small package for the win and title change. Titan is the 72nd champion and a two time champion. Averno falls on his second defense.	excellent

Fans were happy to see the independent guys, and cheered big the first time Panther and Navarro got in together. They were hostile towards Shocker, who did not have a good match. Averno submitted Navarro to a kneebar in the first. Navarro submitted Averno and V4 submitted Panther in the second with a Noria. Averno submitted Black Terry and Blue Panther submitted Villano 4 in the third. Negro Navarro and Blue Panther teased more. Lots of money thrown in, with Panther & Navarro going in to the seats to collect more. All the guys hung around in the ring for a long time, to the point of Tony Salazar trying to get them to leave.	great

About 10 minutes into the third fall, Averno swung Titan into the barricade, and Titan badly hurt a shoulder badly. Doctor checked on Titan but the match continued. Titan was unable to use that arm the rest of the match, but survived a top rope Devil's Wings and won with a tirabuzon (he knows a hold!) to keep his title. Money throw in after the match.	excellent
2012-08-12	Arena Coliseo	La Sombra b Averno * Said to be a very good match. Averno attacked Sombra, ripped up his pants, gave him a Devil's Wings on the floor, and then another in the ring to win the first fall. Averno controlled the second fall, but Sombra came back, landed a tope, and won the fill with the Brillante Bomb. Third fall had a lot of near falls, including Averno reversing the Brillante Bomb (first one?) into a small package. Planned finish appeared to be a top rope headscissors, but they slipped and Sombra lost Averno. Averno still feel, hitting the mat face first. Both were down for a bit, before getting up and finishing with Sombra's elevated German suplex. Post match challenges included Sombra asking for the mask vs hair match, and Averno offering it - if Sombra could beat him again.	great

Order of escape was La Parka (in seconds - Chessman went to grab Parka's shoe to stop him, but the shoe just came off and Parka left), Averno, Demon, Chessman, leaving Electroshock and Mesias. The last segment of the match went much longer than the rest of the match combined. Mesias escaped, leaving Electroshock to get his hair cut. Mesias offered a handshake after the match, but Electroshock attacked him.

Mascara had Brazo de Oro in his corner, Averno had both Ephesto and Mephisto walk with him to the ring, though Ephesto went to the back during the match. Other wrestlers were watching the match, Shocker most visibly. Mascara started the match with the Brazo de Oro/Mascara split mask he'd worn in some of the vignettes, but also started the match with a tope towards Averno. Averno was ready, and hit Mascara with a metal object, causing Mascara to bleed. Quick first fall for Averno via Devil's Wings, and Mascara snuck out the second fall with a small package. Long third fall, both guys surviving each other's and their own usual finishers, including Mascara kicking after a super Devil's Wings. Mascara finally got Averno with two Devil's Wings and then the campana for the win. Crowd was way behind Averno to start, but at least some of them came around to Mascara by the second fall - mostly a female supporters. Ephesto & Mephesto unmasked Averno, who is Renato Ruiz Cortez, 34 years old, 16 years a wrestler. Averno gave credit to Mascara for being the better man on this day and left without giving interviews to the press. He's got a mohawk, partially dyed white. Mascara celebrates with Brazo de Oro, Maximo and Super Brazo.
