• WWF will have AAA wrestlers in the Royal Rumble this year, the first two announced as participating are La Parka & Fuerza Guerrera
• AAA is planning an entire new look to start 1997 which will include the debut of at least 10 new wrestlers, one of those hyped is a newcomer named Flying who is said to be just as good as Rey Misterio Jr.
• AAA will hold a Torneo De La Muerte to end the year which will feature all unmasked wrestlers from all over Mexico, the location has not yet been determined but named mention as participating are Latin Lover (Monterrey), Heavy Metal (Mexico City), Jerry Estrada (Monclova), Crazy 33 (Juarez), Perro Silva (San Luis Potosi), Perro Aguayo Jr. (Zacatecas), Javier Cruz (Guadalajara, said to be starting with AAA soon)
• Brazo De Plata quit PROMELL as soon as the Promo Azteca shift began & is back in CMLL
• status update on the other Brazos is Super Brazo claims to be part of CMLL but hasn't been booked in a while, Brazo Ciberentico is with Promo Azteca & Brazo De Platino's whereabouts are unknown (it's suggested he retired)
• El Brazo will stick with Promo Azteca for now but using the name Brazo Alvarado
• JCR goes after Konnan for being an ungrateful foreigner who is being blindly followed by Mexicans who don't respect their own country
• says if Konnan wants to badmouth AAA & treat their title like garbage (maybe a reference to supposedly throwing one of his AAA titles in the garbage at the recent press conference?) why is he then wearing it on Nitro defending it against Super Calo?
• if people want to leave the door is open, nobdoy should stay where they are unhappy, these people need to stop throwing their name out into the gossip pages for attention, "lucha libre no necesite chismes"
• says Promo Azteca is all bark but no bite as their own representatives are telling people Pierroth Jr., Cibernetico & Los Espectritos have agreed to come in but those guys are still working AAA shows & have no plans of leaving
• while certain other companies are offering millions of promises & dollars, Canek chose to join AAA because he knows they will be around forever & Antonio Pena has proven he can deliver on his promises
• "everyone who leaves eventually comes crawling back"
• Jesus Zuniga is very upset at TV Azteca for airing garbage TV where they allow wrestlers to just make up obscene lies about AAA & Antonio Pena
• says some Japanese women are coming into AAA soon, or as he refers to them "geishas"
• Arturo Rivera says he got a phone call from Pentagon recently who says his health is improving every day
• "nobody is irreplaceable" seems to be his only comment about Konnan disparaging AAA/Antonio Pena
• says the rumors of Televisa dropping AAA are not even close to true, in fact they just got their travel for the rest of the year w/ tapings in Tijuana (11/15), Mexicali (11/16), Hermosillo (11/17), Leon (11/18) & Pachuca (11/24)
• Mano Negra Jr. puts his birth year as 1977 which is only notable because at this time the Observer was reporting him as a 16 year old working in CMLL, he also puts his debut date as 10/23/95 @ Pista Arena Revolucion vs Mogur which doesn't seem right at all
