2014-11-16 | Arena México | Titán © b Pólvora [MEX WELTER] * *
Titan took falls 2/3 to retain the title in a very good match very reminiscent of his title win versus Averno, including crashing and burning into the barricade on a tope and being brought in to take his opponents finisher, only to kick out. This collision looked even worse. Titan pulled out a La Mistica into a cradle to keep his belt. Titan's sixth defense; he'll almost certainly reach one year as champion on 12/01. |
great |
2014-07-29 | Arena México | Titán © b Cavernario [MEX WELTER] *
Titan's fifth defense. Cavernario won the first with his splash to the floor, Titan took the second one with the aid of a moonsault, they traded holds in the third and Titan pinned Cavernario in the third. |

Moved to semimain (and aired on Terra; those two bits may be connected.) Titan submitted Negro in the first, Negro beat Titan with a casita in the second, and Negro won a long competitive third fall to win the tournament. Second Leyenda de Plata for Negro Casas. Casas strongly complimented Titan after the match. |
excellent |
2013-12-01 | Arena México | Titán b Averno [MEX WELTER] * *
Averno came in as champion. Averno won the first with a Devil's rings, Titan took the second with a torito. Titan again collided with the barricade on a tope in a third (for the third straight match between these two), but was able to get his foot on the ropes this time. Averno gave Titan many Devil's Wings, but Titan surprised him with a small package for the win and title change. Titan is the 72nd champion and a two time champion. Averno falls on his second defense. |
excellent |
2013-07-09 | Arena México | Averno © b Titán [MEX WELTER] *
Seconds were Mascara Dorada and Rodolfo Ruiz (Averno's father.) Averno took falls 1/3 to keep the title in the usual quick early falls/long last fall format. Averno dodged a Titan tope in the third fall, and Titan crashed hard. Averno threw him in and laid on top for the win. Titan was strechered out. Averno's first defense. |
great |

Sombra faces next week's winner. |
great |
2013-01-01 | Arena México | Pólvora © b Titán [CMLL WELTER] *
Polvora came in as champion. Titan's Mexican National Welterweight Championship was not on the line. Seconds were Triton and Artillero (Inquisidor was booked in Puebla.) Titan won the first with an inverted Spanish Fly, which appears to be his new finish. Polvora fought him off with a counter dropkick to win the second. Polvora took the final fall with a Polvora Driver to keep the title. |
excellent |
2012-11-16 | Arena México | Titán © b Averno [MEX WELTER] *
Titan came in as champion. Seconds were Super Halcon and Mephisto. Averno won the first with a Devil's Wings, Titan tied it up in the second. About 10 minutes into the third fall, Averno swung Titan into the barricade, and Titan badly hurt a shoulder badly. Doctor checked on Titan but the match continued. Titan was unable to use that arm the rest of the match, but survived a top rope Devil's Wings and won with a tirabuzon (he knows a hold!) to keep his title. Money throw in after the match. |

2012-09-04 | Arena México | Titán b Pólvora © [MEX WELTER] *
Moved to the semimain. As always, Inquisdior was Polvora's second and Triton was Titan's second. Polvora came in as champ and took the first with the Super Polvora Driver. Titan won second with a tornillo and the third with the Titan Special to win the championship. |
great |
2012-06-22 | Arena México | Titán b Euforia [En Busca de un Idolo] *
Colombo and Atlantis were with Titan, Salazar & Guerrero were with Euforia. The secret trainer story never seems to have paid off. Euforia jumped Titan, which seemed like a risky move when Titan is now wearing wristbands with nails sticking out. They had the clock, even though it was an untimed one fall match. Titan's mask was ripped up, Euforia's mask was ripped off, the top of his mask removed. Handstand ropeflip moonsault for the win. All the finalists got trophy cups and flowers. Panico was part of the award presentation. Diamante was wearing his new mask. Dragon Lee was not. |
great |
2012-02-03 | Arena México | Ángel de Oro b Mr. Águila, Máscara Dorada, Rey Escorpión, Valiente, Virus, Delta, Stuka Jr., Pólvora, Tiger, Guerrero Maya Jr., Euforia, Fuego, Hijo del Signo, Titán, Raziel, Puma King, Rey Cometa [Reyes del Aire] * *
Listed in reverse order of elimination. Match went about 40 minutes. Stuka & Polvora was the required draw, going to a double countout (which seems peculiar in a match where anyone else could've come to keep it going.) Mascara Dorada was strechered out after taking a Destroyer from Aguila. Angel de Oro and Mr. Aguila had a long final before Oro won, taking the tournament for the second straight year. Aguila briefly tried to steal the trophy before congratulating Oro. Oro's father was in the audience and got a hug after the win. |
