2016-09-02 | Arena México | Dragón Lee b La Máscara [mask] *
Shocker (Mascara) and Rush (Lee) were seconds and Tirantes was referee. Rush helped Dragon Lee win the first fall, then swept La Mascara off the top rope to try and help him in the second fall. Tirantes saw that one and called the DQ, then kicked Rush out. Dragon Lee convinced Rush to leave. Third fall went long and back and forth. Rush came out as Dragon Lee had La Mascara in a casita, distracted Tirantes from the pin. Mascara got up and fouled Dragon Lee, but Tirantes was slow in turning around and Dragon Lee kicked out at two. Mascara later got the campana, but Tirantes was again busy dealing with Shocker and missed it. Dragon Lee eventually won with the Phoenix Plex. La Mascara was unmasked as Felipe de Jesus Alvarado, 16 years a luchador, 34 years old. Rush made up with La Mascara and they appear to be friends again. Mistico celebrated with Dragon Lee and both were booed (as Dragon Lee was from the moment the match started.) |

2016-01-24 | Korakuen Hall, Tokyo, Japan | Kamaitachi b Dragón Lee © [CMLL SL]
Added after Kamaitachi attacked Dragon Lee on Saturday. 18:33. Excellent match, with Kamaitachi winning with via his Canadian Destroyer variation. Dragon Lee falls on his sixth defense. Kamaitachi is the 13th champion. Kamaitachi indicated he had not returned to NJPW full time yet and would be heading back to Japan with Okumura, Tanaka and Komatsu for an indefinite amount of time. Kamaitachi seemed to suggest he was aiming to follow Prince Devitt's path and be a smaller man challenging for both the IWGP junior and heavyweight titles, and would not return until he's ready. |
excellent |
2015-12-04 | Arena México | Dragón Lee © b Kamaitachi [CMLL SL] * *
16:56. Dragon Lee's fourth defense, all against Kamaitachi. Seconds were Okumura and Maximo. The third fall originally ended with Kamaitachi beating Dragon Lee with the same crazy move as last week, only Dragon Lee clearly had his foot on the ropes. Referee Edgar, who had not counted a different pinfall when Dragon Lee had been under the ropes moments earlier, missed the foot this time and counted three. Maximo protested and commissioner Rambo also seemed to have noticed. A replay was shown, and Rambo officially ordered the match restarted after seeing the foot on the ropes in that replay. Okumura & Kamaitachi protested but the match continued. Dragon Lee won cleanly. Kamaitachi attacked the referee, Maximo and Dragon Lee after the match. |
