Kung Fu, who has a history of injuries, suffered a leg one in this match (so he hurt himself on a benefit show.) This match was later awarded match of the year (from Arena Coliseo) in Box Y Lucha.

Event Notes: Billed as show of the year, put on by the union. New gate record of 270,000.00. Scalping of the tickets was huge for this card. Tickets that were selling for $30.00 were being sold by scalpers for $150.00.
