Seconds Blue Demon and Dick madero. Santo took falls 2/3 to win, the last with a rana after Shadow missed on a tope. Black Shadow is Alejandro Cruz Ortiz. One of the most important matches in lucha libre history.
Event Notes: Gate said to be $87,552. 1000 over capacity with 5000 more turned away. The intense interest in this match led to Arena Mexico being built.
