La Fiera was scheduled, ruled medically unable to compete by Dr. Horacio Ramirez of the commission. Fiera came to the ring anyway, with EMLL's Juan Herrera coming out to escort Fiera to the back and replace him with Supremo. Fans revolted, and Fiera was allowed to wrestle to prevent a serious situation. Box y Lucha brings up a recent (May) disaster at a Mexico football stadium as a reason EMLL might have wanted to appease the crowd. They're also very high on Kiss.
