Fujinami took 1, Solitario 2, double pin in the third. Ring kept the title. Solitario 92, Fujinami 94.

Inoki used karate chops early, which the fans felt was unethical in a title match. Both ended outside, and Canek used a chair for the first fall DQ in 13 minutes. Canek landed two topes in the second fall, but Inoki got in his enziguri and pinned Canek for the straight falls win after a suplex (9 minutes.) Inoki weighed in at 107 kg, Canek at 110 kg. Masami Soronaka was referee.

Event Notes: show named Dual Meet Mexico vs Japon. Box Y Lucha 1382 says this was a sell outa and one of the best shows of the year.
