Gori Guerrero came out of retirement for this match. Santo recieved trophies from fans, promoters, the commission, the union, and the city. Hijo del Santo, who had not yet debuted, appeared. Rudos were annoyed about the festitives taking so long and walked off. Perro got his team DQed by removing Solitario's mask, and brawled with Hijo del Santo in the second. Aguayo went rabid, fouling Santo for the DQ and straight fall loss.
Event Notes: El Santo's retirement show. Complete sell out. Jose Mendieta, Enrique Llanes, Dientes Hernandez, Bobby Bonales, Kid Vanegas and Jean Safont were among those who appeared to see Santo off.
