Jushin Lyger replaced Angel de Oro as Fantasma's partner.
5) Misterioso Jr. & Mr. Niebla b Negro Casas & Puma King [quarterfinal] *
Zacarias sided with Mr. Niebla in the Peste Negra vs Peste Negra battle.
6) Blue Panther & Fuego b Stuka Jr. & Valiente [quarterfinal] *
Blue Panther & Fuego were reunited from the Forjando un Idolo tournament. Fuego beat his tag partner, Stuka.
7) Hijo del Fantasma & Jushin Lyger b Shigeo Okumura & Volador Jr. [semifinal] *
Okumura got his shot at 'traitor' Lyger - and lost.

Tecnicos won, though Niebla was crowd favorite.
