4) Averno b Blue Panther [hair] * *
Submission rules, as promised. Panther submitted Averno with a palanca. Averno surprised Panther with heelhook in the second. Lots of back and forth in the third fall, including Averno reversing holds into pinfalls but Tirantes refusing to count. Rush finally won with the martillo negro. Fans sided with Terrible even after the match, upsetting Rush. Mistico, out to celebrate, settled down his brother, but the entire family was pelted with drinks until they left. Terrible was also sent to the back to calm down the crowd, but returned to get his hair cut (doing some himself) and thanked the fans. In the locker room, Rush said he didn't care about the boos and they just made him stronger, while Terrible said he didn't lose tonight, but just won more fans and it's not over with Rush.

35 minute match. Santo takes fall 1/3. Santo submits Gladiador to win, though Gladiador argues he didn't give up and the match is resumed. Santo again submits Gladiador to a double armbar and there was no doubt that time. Gladiador is Luis Ramirez Romero.
Event Notes: A history piece in Box y Lucha 1456 lists "20,000" fans. Box y Lucha 236A, at the time, calls it just over 15,000 fans. Box y Lucha also guesses payoffs based on the gate and percentage: King/Loatario 460 pesos, Pilusso/Mendoza 675, Tarzan/Shadow/Caverario/Mongol 1,600 pesos and Santo/Gladiador could not be making more than 2000.
