Straight falls. Avernos were DQed in the first and ripped up Panther's pants. Blue Panther submitted Averno in the second.

Rush was not the best partner for his teammates.

1) Astral, Eléctrico, Último Dragóncito b Mercurio, Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico *
Ultimo Dragoncito replaced Bam Bam. Tecnicos took 2/3. Mercurio was strechered out after taking double team moves from Astral & Electrico for the finish.
2) Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Tritón b Misterioso Jr., Sangre Azteca, Shigeo Okumura *
Tecnicos took 1/3.
3) Marco Corleone, Máximo, Súper Porky DQ Terrible, Tiger, Vangellys *
Tecnicos took straight falls in a comedy match. Tiger was initially listed but replaced by Rey Escorpion early in the week. Escorpion appears to be feuding with Porky, and fouled him here for the DQ.
4) Diamante Azul, La Máscara, Shocker b Felino, Mr. Niebla, Pólvora * *
Polvora replaced Negro Casas, who appeared but was announced as out with an injury. Tecnicos took 1/3 in a normal match.
5) Último Guerrero & Volador Jr. b Atlantis & La Sombra * *
Rudos took 1/3, UG and Volador working together to beat Atlantis & Sombra with their big moves clean. Most of the match was the feuding guys facing off and ignoring the partners. Rudos taunted the tecnicos post match, though they had a strong difference of opinions about who which tecnico was losing his mask next week.
6) Hiroshi Tanahashi b Rush [CMLL Universal, final] * *
Seconds were Sombra & Okumura. Rush won the first with a suplex. Tanahashi won the second in with a german suplex after a very botched blocked suplex spot. Match finally picked up a couple minutes into the third and was good for most of that fall. Lots of near falls, with Rush surviving a German suplex and avoiding a High Fly Flow. Rush landed the hard corner dropkick, but Tanahashi blocked the Rush Driver, dropped Rush with a Sling Blade, and landed the High Fly Flow to win the tournament. No angle after - Rush walked off while Tanahashi got the belt.

1) Guerrero Negro Jr. & Herodes Jr. b Metatrón & Robin *
Rudos took falls 1/3.
2) Arkángel de la Muerte, Hooligan, Nitro b Magnus, Pegasso, Starman *
Tuareg took falls 2/3. Nitro beat Starman with a Flashina.
3) Dallys la Caribeña, Estrellita, Marcela b La Seductora, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sugheit * *
Straight falls. No Dallys/Marcela issues. Sugheit beat Esterllita at the end and challenged her to a title match.
4) Pólvora b Diamante [lightning] * *
Polvora defeated Diamante in a rough match.
5) Delta, Fuego, Súper Porky b Ephesto, Niebla Roja, Shigeo Okumura * *
Tecnicos took 2/3. Usual Porky comedy match.
6) Mr. Niebla, Pierroth, Rey Escorpión b Marco Corleone, Thunder, Titán * *
Mr. Niebla fouled Marco with the ref down. Marco challenged Niebla to a singles match.

1) Leono & Metatrón b Cholo & Inquisidor *
Metatron was double listed, worked here instead of Guadalajara.
2) Hombre Bala Jr., Starman, Súper Halcón Jr. b Guerrero Negro Jr., Hijo del Signo, Nosferatu *
3) Diamante, Pegasso, Tritón b Arkángel de la Muerte, Hooligan, Puma *
Tecnicos took 1/3. Puma won the second fall for the rudos, but kicked Isis by mistake in the process. She was strechered out. Diamante beat Puma with a Code Red in the third.
4) Marcela b Princesa Blanca [lightning]
Marcela won in 8:10 but was left bleeding by Blanca.
5) Ephesto, Gran Guerrero, Virus b Ángel de Oro, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. *
6) Diamante Azul, La Máscara, Shocker b Pierroth, Terrible, Tiger *
Shocker pinned Terrible, challenged him to a heavyweight title match for next week. Terrible accepted.

***CMLL 80th Anniversary show***
1) Ishii, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura b Fuego, Rey Cometa, Stuka Jr. *
Namajague wore his mask to the ring and both teams entered as groups. Ishii's CMLL debut; he and Stuka hit each other hard (which seems to be Ishii's spot here.) Japan took 1/3 with Ishii beating Stuka via delayed superplex.
2) Euforia, Mephisto, Niebla Roja b Brazo de Plata, Máximo, Titán * *
Rudos took 1/3. Mephisto had a new scary mask. Super Porky actually did the much teased tope for the first time in years (and lived!) Euforia submitted Maximo and Mephisto lifted up Porky for La Rosa in a strong show of strength.
3) Marco Corleone, Rush, Vangellys b Negro Casas, Shocker, Terrible [Relevos Increíbles] * *
Straight falls. Vangelis and Marco beat Shocker and Terrible in the first while everyone was watching Negro and Rush fight on the outside. Negro/Rush was the center of the match, though the crowd was very into Shocker too. Shocker pinned Vangelis & Marco pinned Terrible, then Shocker & Marco spilled out of the ring. Rush landed a top rope double on Rush, Rush kicked out, and Rush eventually got the pin by using the ropes. Rush was very happy with himself - crowd was not happy with him.
4) Averno b Blue Panther [hair] * *
Submission rules, as promised. Panther submitted Averno with a palanca. Averno surprised Panther with heelhook in the second. Lots of back and forth in the third fall, including Averno reversing holds into pinfalls but Tirantes refusing to count. Panther caught Averno in his armbar, Mephisto threw in the towel, Panther let go, Mephisto grabbed the towel and pulled it out before Tirantes saw it, Panther was distracted and caught in a sleeper by Averno for the win. Panther got his hair shaved in the ring.
5) La Sombra & Volador Jr. b Atlantis & Último Guerrero [winners advance] * * *
Atlantis & UG dominated the early portion of the one fall match, both sides hit big moves, and the Sombra & Volador team defeated Atlantis & UG with a Brillante Driver and Spanish Fly. Crowd hated this result and chanted Fraude loudly during the rest of the show and after it.
6) Máscara Dorada, Místico, Valiente © b Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión [CMLL TRIOS] * * *
Tecnicos took 2/3 to keep the titles (second defense.) Crowd chanted FRAUDE through the match, but did respond to the closing dives by the tecnicos.
7) La Sombra b Volador Jr. [mask] * * *
Sombra took falls 2/3, the last a long fall won via super Canadian Destroyer. Crowd chanted Fraude during the first two falls, but eventually supported Volador and went back to being unhappy after he lost. Volador Jr. was announced as Ramon Ibarra Rivera, 32 years old, 17 years a luchador.

1) Bengala & Oro Jr. b Espanto Jr. & Zayco *
Tecnicos took 1/3.
2) Astral, Bam Bam, Eléctrico b Mercurio, Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico *
Tecnicos took 2/3. Dragoncito was originally listed but switched for Bam Bam ahead of time. Astral is jacked but also still blowing spots at times.
3) Estrellita © b Princesa Sugheit [MEX WOMEN] * *
Estrellita took 2/3 for her second defense, the last with a bridging backslide Toscano style, both versus Sugheit. Crowd was not into the match beyond hollering semi-serious support for Estrellita.
4) La Máscara, Súper Porky, Thunder b Ephesto, Felino, Pierroth *
Tecnicos took 2/3. Usual Porky match. Pierroth and Thunder fought and were bad but the world did not actually end.
5) Kráneo, Psicosis, Volador Jr. b Máscara Dorada, Místico, Valiente * *
Volador's debut unmasked - he took off his mask during his entrance. Crowd was way behind him and Kraneo & Psicosis led chants for him after the first fall. rudos took 1/3. Volador spoke off this being a new start for him but he'll continue to do it for his fans. Kraneo & Psicosis challenged for a trios title shot (implied that Volador would not be on that team.) Mije was there but not really involved.
6) Marco Corleone b Mr. Niebla * *
Marco took falls 2/3. Crowd was easily behind Niebla. Marco had rudo moments, including taking the second fall grabbing the ropes. Niebla rolled thru the Aero Italiano in the first for the pin, but Marco landed it clean for the win in the third. Marco did his "I wasn't born in Mexico, but I'm now Mexican in my heart." Crowd wasn't having it today.
CMLL (TUE) 09/17/2013 Arena México [@luchablog, CMLL, CMLL Gaceta, Yahoo! Deportes]
1) Metálico & Sensei b Espanto Jr. & Zayco *
tecnicos took 1/3
2) Ishii, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura b Diamante, Fuego, Sagrado *
Team Japan took 1/3. Ishii fought Sagrado and pinned him with the delayed superplex.
3) Stuka Jr. b Sangre Azteca [lightning]
Moved up a spot. Stuka won it with the hammerlock DDT in 4:44.
4) Ephesto, Mephisto, Negro Casas b Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Máximo *
Rudos took 2/3. Negro danced after the match, demanded Maximo (who took a triple powerbomb for the loss) dance, Maximo refused, and Negro kicked him in the face.
5) Máscara Dorada, Místico, Valiente b Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja *
Estetas took falls 2/3. Gran Guerrero had a bad match.
6) Terrible © b Shocker [CMLL HEAVY] *
Seconds were Comandante and Mascara Dorada. Shocker weighed in at 107.5 kg (237 lb) and 105.5 kg (232.5 lb). Shocker wore a Cruz Azul shirt in honor of a championship under 17 Cruz Azul team in the audience. Crowd got into the match. Shocker won the first with the Dos Caras clutch and went for it many times in the second until Terrible slapped him. Terrible took the second fall with his top rope splash. Shocker kept surviving and nearly winning in the third, but Terrible dropped him with an Air Raid Crash. Terrible's seventh defense. Shocker made hair challenges after the match which aren't going anywhere.

1) Guerrero Negro Jr. & Herodes Jr. b Molotov & Soberano Jr. *
Rudos took 2/3 in a good opener. Guerrero Negro didn't cover up his newly bald head.
2) Dallys la Caribeña, Luna Mágica, Marcela b La Comandante, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca *
Straight falls for the tecnicas, though Dallys stole a Marcela pin at the end and they shoved each other again.
3) Hijo del Fantasma, Rey Cometa, Tritón b Ishii, Puma, Tiger *
Tecnicos took 2/3 in a very good match. Fantamsa landed the Phantom Attack on Tiger for the win.
4) Ángel de Oro b Misterioso Jr. [lightning] * *
Angel de Oro survived Misterioso's big moves and beat him with the mecedora in 6:46
5) Diamante Azul, Súper Porky, Titán DQ Pierroth, Pólvora, Rey Escorpión *
DQ for excessive Rey Escorpion violence on Super Porky.

In a backstage promo after the match, UG spoke about last week not being a fraude because they said the mask match would be the winner of the tag match but he and Atlantis would do their mask match some time down the line.

Rudos took 1/3, the last when Virus snuck Maya's mask off and cradled him. Maya challenged Virus to a singles match.

Rudas took 2/3. Dallys refused to help Marcela the whole match and tried to steal the pin from her in the third, but only got her team DQed.
3) Kráneo, Morphosis, Psicosis b Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr., Stuka Jr. *
Rudos took 2/3 in a good match. Stuka and Fuego wiped each other out on a dive, and the Invasors beat Guerrero Maya with a swinging gate match.
4) Titán b Niebla Roja [lightning] * *
Titan defeated Niebla Roja in a match full of big spots, but also Titan winning with a modified cerrajera in over 9 minutes
5) Místico, Súper Porky, Valiente DQ Averno, Mephisto, Rey Escorpión *
straight falls. Porky furiously attacked Rey Escorpion in the second for an excessive violence DQ, then demanded a hair versus hair match.
6) Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Volador Jr. b La Sombra, Marco Corleone, Rush *
Rudos took 1/3. Negro Casas put his feet on the ropes to beat Rush, in revenge for previous weeks.

1) Aéreo & Stukita b Mercurio & Pequeño Universo 2000 *
Tecnicos took 1/3. Stukita looked good in his return (first match since 04/30), while Aereo had an iffy match and Universo looked typically immobile.
2) Soberano Jr., Stigma, Súper Halcón Jr. DQ Camorra, Inquisidor, Nosferatu *
Tecnicos took 1/3. Camorra blatantly fouled Stigma in the third. Super Halcon Jr. replaced Pegasso. Rudos were not much good.
3) Diamante, Fuego, Sagrado b Ishii, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura *
Tecnicos took 2/3, Sagrado German suplexing Namajague at the end of a long third fall.
4) Guerrero Maya Jr. b Virus [lightning] *
Guerrero Maya won via reverse suastica in 6:38 in a good technical match without big moves. Maya challenged for the Super Lightweight title and Virus accepted for next week.
5) Blue Panther, Shocker, Thunder b Tiger, Último Guerrero, Vangellys * *
Tecnicos took 1/3, Shocker beating Ultimo Guerrero via reinera.
6) Atlantis, La Máscara, Místico b Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión * *
Tecnicos took 2/3, tecnicos winning clean in the usual Rey Escorpio hard working match.
