3) Centvrión, Trauma I, Trauma II DQ Black Terry, Machín, Oficial AK47 *
Trauma I replaced Negro Navarro. 911 ran in for the DQ, attacking the Traumas. This seemed to set up a Trauma/Oficial issue.
4) Apolo Estrada Jr. b Bugambilia del Norte [hair] *
Apolo hit Bugambilia with a bottle before the match started. Bugambilia had a big gash on his head the rest of the way. Eterno, Apolo's second, interfered frequently. Trauma II was Bugambilia's second. Apolo took the first, Bugambilia took advantage of some rudo screw ups to win the second. Trauma II ran Eterno off in the third fall, but then as the commissioner and referee were getting rid of Trauma, Eterno snuck back and piledrived Bugambilia. Trauma threanted Apolo, but was jumped by the Oficials before he could do anything. Bugambilia was shaved despite being strechered off.

Garza was caught with the chain in hand in the third for the DQ.

Traumas fought on. Trauma II submitted Fierro, 911 got Trauma II with a backcracker, AK-47 pinned Trauma I with a backcracker. Trauma II was strechered out, the Oficals took Trauma I's mask, then challenged both Traumas to a mask match.

Head Hunter's side - apparently the rudo side - jumped Taboo to take the first fall. Head Hunter accidentally planched his teammates to cost them fall 2, but splashed Taboo from the second rope to pin him. Head Hunter challenged Taboo for a title shot.

Traumas took 1, Oficials the second. 911 & Trauma I were eliminated in the third. Trauma II dominated, but AK-47 pulled out a hold to win. Oficials were thrilled with the win and put out the mask challenge again. Traumas agreed, and they signed contracts right there and then to do it next week.

Team Perros (and Cats) del Mal took 2/3. Canis Lupus, the sensational character find of 2011, keeps bugging Pantera for a show at the Rey del Ring title.

Rudos jumped the tecnicos and took 1/3. Head Hunter snuck in a foul on Electroshock for the win. Hunter challenged Electrshock and Taboo to a three way match for the IWRG Heavyweight Title on Christmas Day. I guess he reads the magazines.
IWRG (THU) 12/22/2011 Arena Naucalpan [Black Terry Jr. (flickr), Estrellas del Ring, The Gladiatores]
***34th Arena Naucalpan Anniversary***
Attendance: 2400
1) Gemelo Fantástico I, Gemelo Fantástico II, Imposible b Astro de Plata, Astro Rey Jr., Tritón
Gemelos win in straight fall, continuing their hot streak.
2) Alan Extreme, Apolo Estrada Jr., Avisman b Centvrión, Multifacético, Saruman *
Quick match. Apolo defeated Multifacetico with a hand on the ropes. They were both bleeding by the end, and challenged to a hair match for 01/01.
3) Carta Brava Jr. b Dinamic Black © [IWRG IC Light] *
Carta Brava took 2/3 to win the title. Dinamic Black hurt his hip in a dive in the third fall, which played into the finish. Said to be a great match.
4) Eterno © b Golden Magic © [IWRG IC WELTER, WWS WELTER] *
Golden Magic was IWRG champ, Eterno was WWS. Originally promoted as unification match, but both titles may be kept now. Eterno took falls 2/3 to win the IWRG title, winning via top rope styles clash. Another well regarded match.
5) Canis Lupus, Head Hunter I, Hernandez b Pantera, Texano Jr., Tony Rivera *
Negro Navarro was replaced by Hernandez, who earlier had said on Twitter he was in Mexico on vacation and to catch up with old friend Head Hunter I. Tony Rivera replaced Toscano, who can't seem to make it to any IWRG show he's scheduled. Rudos took 1/3, with Lupus again challenging Pantera for a Rey del Ring shot.
6) Oficial 911 & Trauma II b Oficial AK47 & Trauma I [relevos suicidas] *
Originally teased as Oficials vs Traumas in a double mask match, but instead was announced in this style. This portion was a single fall to the finish. Neither team felt much like working together, even to the point of the Oficals breaking up Traumas holds, even their partners. Both Traumas and Oficials faced off at points in the match. 911 took out Trauma I with a chair shot to eliminated him, then both Oficials attacked Trauma II. AK47 eventually hit his own partner by mistake, and Trauma II rolled up AK47 for the win.
7) Trauma I DQ Oficial AK47 [mask] *
This was a three fall bout, with the previous wrestlers as seconds. Majority of the crowd backed the Traumas. In the first, 911 hit Trauma I with a chair shot again, and AK-47 gave Trauma a Devil's Wings for the win. AK-47 missed a top rope move in the second, and Trauma I submitted him to a inverted figure four. Both men bleed in the final fall. 911 pulled out ref El Grillo on a near fall. Grillo was distracted later by both seconds, allowing AK-47 to drop Trauma I with a martinete. AK-47 covered, and Grillo counted the pin even while a doctor had already slid in the ring to check on Trauma I. AK-47 was declared the winner for a minute or so before Grillo saw the condition Trauma was in, deduced AK-47 must've given him a martinete, and overturned his own call for the DQ. Fans were massively unhappy when it appeared AK-47 was going to win via the martinete, throwing garbage at the ring, and were okay with the over turned finish. Oficial AK-47 is Mario Pardo Villagómez, from Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, 26 years old, 7 years a luchador. Trauma I, stretchered out with a destroyed mask, still managed to dedicate the win to his mom and the fans.
Event Notes: Believed to be a sell out.

3) Apolo Estrada, Avisman, El Hijo del Diablo © b Pasion Kristal, Polvo de Estrellas, Yuriko [EdM Trios, lumberjack]
Gringos are the current champions, though with Gringo Loco and not Apolo Estrada. They were presented as the champions here and this was considered a defense. Gringos were accompanied by Sherry. Copetes was referee and favored the AAA team, but he got chased off by the lumberjacks and IWRG referee Grillo ran in to make hte three count for Diablo on Polvo.
4) Súper Mega b Joe Lider ©, Último Gladiador, Violento Jack [DTU]
Joe Lider came in as champion. Rey Vikingo was listed as participating but did not. Gladiador was eliminated first by Lider, though he claimed he got his shoulder up by 3. Super Mega beat Violento Jack. Joe Lider went to the top to beat Super Mega, but Gladiador came back with a light tube and hit Lider. Mega finishes him with a top rope Canadian Destroyer to win the title.
5) Head Hunter I b Taboo ©, Electroshock [IWRG IC HEAVY, bull terrier]
Taboo was the champion. Taboo & Electroshock tried to fight together to stop Head Hunter, but failed. Head Hunter won the title. Electroshock gave him credit for a win, but asked for a shot.
6) La Parka Jr. & Octagón © b Chessman & Silver King [MEX TAG, cage]
Silver King and La Parka escaped first. Octagon was next. Silver had a glass of beer ready to throw in Octagon's face, but Octagon avoided and Chessman took it. Parka pulled Silver King and Octagon escaped to keep the titles.
