Leono eliminated Camorra, Zavala eliminted Leono, and Metalico beat Zavala for the win.

Dalis replaced Luna, who missing this week. Straight falls for the tecnicas when Amapola and Estrellita had problems again - this time, Amapola accidentally missile dropkicked Estrellita. Not sure who's side Tiffany took.

10 minute time limit draw!
4) Misterioso Jr., Pólvora, Shigeo Okumura b Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro, Valiente *
Rudos took falls 1/3. After Metal Blanco and Palacio Negro did their dives, Valiente and frequent nemesis Polvora were left in. Polvora tried a rope bounce powerbomb, Valiente reversed it to a huracarrana, Polvora rolled thru and grabbed the bottom rope for the three count.
5) Atlantis, Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr. DQ Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas *
Rudos took fall 1, tecnicos took fall 2. End came down to Guerrero Maya going for the Cerebina, Negro escaping (using an eye rake?), snapping Maya's arm over the top rope and putting on a cross armbreaker. Maya gave, but Negro refused to let go and lost by disqualification. Atlantis, who was awarded the Copa Bobby Bonales before the match, challenged Negro after.
6) Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto b La Máscara, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada *
Mascara Dorada has new music. Rudos won when Mephisto - already eliminated - fouled Mascara while he was putting Averno in la campana. Averno got the pin.

Metatron took Maya's spot, out of action due to Negro's attack on Friday. Dragon Lee, back in this feud, took Enrique Vera's spot. Tecnicos took the last two matches, the last when Rayo I stole Bala's mask.
3) Euforia, Skándalo, Yoshihashi b Fuego, Pegasso, Sensei
Rudos took 1/3.
4) Dragón Rojo Jr., Naito, Volador Jr. b Blue Panther, Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado
Rudos took the last two, giving a backcracker to Panther for the win.

Averno tossed La Mascara into the post, causing him to be stretchered out a day before their title match. Guerreros took care of the other two in Atlantidas.

Rudos take 1/3. Sobreano was stretchered out.
3) Ángel de Plata, Fuego, Sagrado b Dr. X, Hooligan, Loco Max *
Straight falls for the tecnicos, with Fuego cradling Dr. X in the second. Fuego challenged for a mask vs mask match, but Dr. X walked out on it.
4) Misterioso II, Olímpico, Yoshihashi b Metal Blanco, Metro, Palacio Negro *
Olimpico replaced Polvora, double booked. Rudos won falls 1/3, with Palacio Negro wiping out.
5) Héctor Garza, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas b Ángel de Oro, Rush, Toscano *
Fans were behind the rudos, who took the match.

1) Disturbio & Zayco b Starman & Trueno
Final fall came down to eliminations. Trueno eliminated Zayco, Disturbio eliminated Trueno, and Disturbio pinned Starman after Zayco pulled off Starman's mask from the outside.
2) Dalis la Caribeña, Goya Kong, Lluvia b Amapola, Estrellita, Princesa Blanca *
Lluvia replaced Dark Angel. In the third fall, Estrellita screwed up, Blanca and Amapola attakced her, and the tecnicas cradled them for the win. Estrellita hugged a very confused Lluvia (and also the other two) and celebrated with the tecnicas after the match. The new title belt was shown before the match.
3) Pequeño Nitro b Eléctrico [lightning] *
Odd finish. Nitro dropkicked a seated Electrico, covered, and Electrico kicked out at 2.9999999. Bestia Negra counted him down early. Electrico threw a fit all the way to backstage.
4) Euforia, Pólvora, Virus b Hijo del Fantasma, Stuka Jr., Valiente *
Tecnicos took the first, rudos the last two. Polvora beat Valiente clean this week, and challenged for a title shot.
5) Naito, Psicosis, Volador Jr. b Dragón Rojo Jr., Rey Escorpión, Último Guerrero *
With Naito taking out UG on a dive, Naito & Psicosis beat the other two.
6) Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto b La Máscara, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada *
Straight falls for the rudos, who challenged for the trios titles next week.

Okumura and Doble T had issues by the end of their match, leading to their loss.

Volador pulled Mr. Niebla's mask and cradled him for the win.

Warrior replaced Demus. Rudos took 2/3.

Rudos took 1/3, Virus cheating to beat Stuka in the third. I wonder if Stuka still wants that title match.
4) Dr. X, Misterioso II, Olímpico b Blue Panther, Fuego, Sagrado *
Misterioso replaced Histeria. Straight falls for the rudos; Fuego was DQed for accidentally dropkicking the referee, and Dr. X powerbombed him for the win. Dr. X threatened to take Fuego's mask and end his career.

Rush replaced Angel de Oro.

Molotov replaced Tigre Blanco. Tecnicos took 2/3
2) Amapola, Princesa Sugheit, Tiffany b Estrellita, Goya Kong, Marcela *
Estrellita was dressed as Red Riding Hood. Rudos were DQed for excessive violence on Amapola in the first fall, and Estrellita pinned Amapola in the second fall. Estrellita challenged Amapola to a title match, but Amapola said Estrellita wasn't on her level.
3) Pólvora b Valiente © [MEX WELTER] * * 
Valiente took the first, Polvora won a quick second, Polvora won the third with a Storm Cradle Driver. Inquisidor was his second, and acknowledged as his brother by radiocmll.
4) Mr. Niebla, Naito, Negro Casas b Ángel de Oro, Atlantis, Delta *
Rudos took 1/3, Negro stealing Atlantis' mask (and not being caught by Tirantes) to set up the win.
5) Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto b La Máscara, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada © [CMLL TRIOS] *
Rudos took the first, Sombra pinned Averno to take the second, Ephesto surprisingly eliminated Ephesto and Mascara got Ephesto. Dorada took out Mephisto with a dive, which left Averno and Mascara in. The match ended with a campana - but it was Averno applying it to Mascara for the shocking win and title switch.
CMLL (SUN) 07/17/2011 Arena Coliseo [CMLL, La Catedral]
***Arkangel 25th Anniversary Show***
1) Starman b Camaleón, Halcón Mágico, Bobby Zavala, Kato, Trueno, Robin, Último Samurai (Guerrero), Warrior Steel, Cocolores, Trox, Flamita, Canelo Casas, Freesbe, Yago, Príncipe Azteca
Referee was Teddy, an indy referee who works (or worked?) for Perros del Mal. Kind of a Royal Rumble style match, but with 2 new wrestlers every 90 seconds. Order of entry was Freesbee & Starman, Canelo Casas & Flamita, Trox & Cocolores, Warrior Steel & Ultimo Samurai, Robin & Trueno, Kato & Bobby Zavala, and Halcon Magico (not Super Halcon - this one turned up in 2006 IWRG teaming with Tiger Kid) & Camaleon. No one was eliminated until the ring filled up. Guys were eliminating themselves by doing dives, including Magico moonsaulting to the floor. Final three were Camaleon, Flamita and Starman, Starman dumping Flamita for the win. Cesar says Flamita and Warrior Steel looked good, and didn't like Robin and Cocolores comedy.
2) Dalis la Caribeña & Lady Afrodita b La Comandante & Mima Shimoda
Lady Afrodita is an Arkangel trainee, making her CMLL debut and getting her first win. One fall basic match.
3) Dr. X, Hooligan, Loco Max, Nitro, Yoshihashi b Cancerbero, Euforia, Pólvora, Raziel, Virus [cibernetico] *
Absolutely no mention of what's become of Skandalo. Order of elimination was Yoshihashi (via Virus), Virus (Hooligan), Hooligan (Raziel), Polvora (Tuareg distracted the refs so Dr. X could toss his own mask to Polvora for the DQ, hmmm), Loco Max (Cancerbero), Raziel (Nitro), Nitro (Cancerbero). That left Dr. X alone against Cancerbero and Euforia, but he beat Euforia and then the big man to take copa home for the Tuareg.
4) Arkángel de la Muerte, Ephesto, Shigeo Okumura b Mr. Cacao, Stuka Jr., Valiente * 
The Tuareg entered with Arkangel before the match, and Arkangel thanked everyone for supporting him. Rudos took 2/3. Arkangel pinned Mr. Cacao in the third fall for the win, then challenged for a mask match.
5) Delta, La Máscara, La Sombra DQ Atlantis, Mephisto, Volador Jr.
No Toscano again, Delta replacing him. Tecnicos took 2/3. Mephisto fouled Sombra for the pin.
Event Notes: Show was preceded by a lucha olimpico demonstration by arkangel's current students.

Rudos took 1/3, submitting Cometa to a triple tapatia in the third fall.
4) Fuego DQ Dr. X [lightning] *
Fuego was about to win this match when Arkangel ran in to attack. The Tuareg all ended up beating up Fuego.
5) Blue Panther, Sangre Azteca, Valiente b Misterioso Jr., Pólvora, Shigeo Okumura *
Small bit of revenge for Valiente, who's team took falls 1/3 to win.
6) El Alebrije, Mr. Águila, Psicosis b Ángel de Oro, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada *
Psicosis snuck in a foul on Sombra to take the win.

Olimpico & Pierrothtio submitted Fantasy & Bam Bam for the win.
3) Estrellita, Goya Kong, Marcela b Amapola, Princesa Sugheit, Tiffany *
tecnicas took last two, Estrellita beating Amapola in the last with an inverted figure four. This sets up a title match next week.
4) Palacio Negro b Cancerbero [lightning] *
win in 8:34 for Palacio Negro via moonsault legdrop
5) Hijo del Fantasma, La Máscara, Rush b Averno, Rey Bucanero, Terrible *
Rudos were DQed in the first for throwing La Mascara over the top rope, Mascara pinned Averno with the Devil's Wings in the second. Averno had previous tried for the campana, which beat Mascara last week. They agreed to a NWA Middleweight title match next week.
6) Atlantis, Héctor Garza, Último Guerrero b Mr. Niebla, Naito, Negro Casas *
Naito ate an Atlantis moonsault and Negro Casas ran into an Atlantida for the loss.

Rudos take 1/3.

Leono was hurt in the last fall. Rudos take 1/3, Loco Max submitting Molotov.
3) La Comandante, Mima Shimoda, Princesa Blanca b Dalis la Caribeña, Estrella Mágica, Lluvia
Estrella filled in for her sister, who's still MIA. This Magica had new gear, was still brutalized by the rudas. They took it, 2/3.
4) Shigeo Okumura, Terrible, Texano b Black Warrior, Metro, Sagrado *
Rudos took this one 1/3, all getting finished on the tecnicos in the third.
5) Blue Panther, Shocker, Súper Porky b Héctor Garza, Mr. Águila, Psicosis *
Shocker's return to CMLL rings. Garza had problems with his partners; not sure how serious to take it, because rudo Garza always has problems with his partners. This time, Shocker was finished, but Hector told Garza and Aguila to go up top to add more, and then covered Shocker himself for the first fall win. Tecnicos rallied back to win the last two, and Garza walked out on his partners after the match.

Tecnicos took 1/3. Fuego took out Dr. X with a dive while the other tecnicos beat the other rudos. Dr. X has a nice new t-shirt.

Rudos took 1/3. Porky was wearing a full body superhero suit.
5) Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Texano b Héctor Garza, Psicosis, Volador Jr. *
TRT won 1/3. Garza had problems with his teammates again, more with Volador than Psicosis.

The champ took 2/3 to keep the title. Estrellita left on a stretcher after taking a backcracker.

Elimination order went Metro (via Psicosis), Psicosis (via Fantasma - with some accidental help from Hector Garza), Angel de Oro (Bucanero), Ultimo Guerrero (Strong Man), Strong Man (all of TRT with a powerbomb), Rey Bucanero (Shocker, thanks to T&T goofing up), Fantasma (Texano), Texano (Rush), Shocker & Terrible double pin, Blue Panther (Garza), Garza (Rush), Rush (Niebla), Maximo (Atlantis), and Mr. Niebla beat Atlantis clean to win it. Niebla was presented the plaque by Alejandro Munoz, the son of Blue Demon (who's been feuding with Blue Demon Jr. for years; CMLL and Munoz obviously using each other to tweak Demon.)
5) Averno © b La Máscara [NWA MIDDLE] * 
Averno took the first fall with the Devil's Wings, Mascara tied it up with a a casita. Averno dropped Mascara with a top rope Devil's Wings in the third, but Mascara kicked out. After more near falls, Texano (Averno's second) tripped up Mascara from the outside. Brazo de Oro (Mascara's second) jumped on the apron to complain, and Averno used the distract to foul Mascara. That got him the win. Averno challenged for Mascara's singles title (Mex LH) and his mask afterwards.

Enrique Vera had a really low grade Captain America shield. Guess he liked the movie. This tecnico trio won 1/3, improbably.
3) Estrella Mágica, Goya Kong, Lady Apache b La Comandante, La Seductora, Princesa Blanca *
Lady Apache's return. CMLL.com has been pretty pointing out that Blanca is the national women's champion. These two threads may end up connecting. Estrella Magica continued filling in for Luna. Tecnicas took 1/3.
4) Misterioso Jr., Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi b Blue Panther, Metal Blanco, Valiente *
Misterioso snuck in a foul on Panther for the win. CMLL praises Misterioso for being a great rudo, no matter which random parnters he's given.
5) La Máscara, Máscara Dorada, Shocker DQ El Alebrije, Héctor Garza, Volador Jr. *
Straight falls. Mascara had Volador in the campana, and Garza decided to break it up by pulling off La Mascara's mask, handing it to Volador, and then alerting the referee that Volador had the mask. What a jerk! Fans were chanting for Garza to turn tecnico. No word if Volador joined in on the chant.
