Guerrero Maya advances! He took out Blanco with a double underhook piledriver (which was not called one, of course) and faces Angel de Oro on Friday.

La Comandante beat Goya Kong with a splash.

Plata got some Forjando un Idolo redemption by cradling Polvora as he went for a leg lock for the win.

Fuego (UG) used a leglock to get the upset over Diamante (Panther, undefeated up till this.)
4) Ángel de Oro b Guerrero Maya Jr. [Forjando un Idolo, quarterfinal] *
Ultimo Guerrero student over a Shocker student. Maya went for a second rope senton, missed, and Oro immediately put him in a campana for the victory.
5) Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Texano b Blue Panther, Rush, Strong Man *
Rudo trio is using the name Fuerza TRT. Rudos avoided Strong Man in the first fall, but he finally got in and cleaned house to set up the tecnico fall. Rudos came back for the less two, all pinning Strong Man in the third after a superbomb.
6) Averno, Negro Casas, Último Guerrero b La Máscara, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada * *
Negro Casas replaced Atlantis. Rudos took the first and the third. Mascara had UG in the campana and seemed about to beat him. Meanwhile, Dorada springboared at Averno (who's mask was ripped up by Mascara.) Averno fouled him, distracted the ref, yanked Mascara's mask off, and pinned Dorada as UG pinned Mascara.

Crowd got into this match. Rey Escorpion tried to cheat again, but Ultimo Guerrero stopped him and Delta eventually took the win. Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Escorpion had real problems after this one, shoving each other on (and off) the ramp.
4) Pólvora b Hijo del Signo [Forjando un Idolo, quarterfinal] *
Hijo del Signo was the last Group Alfa (Negro Casas) member standing. He lost, and Polvora becomes the second group Delta (Blue Panther) member to get thru.
5) Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro, Stuka Jr. b Euforia, Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi *
Bonus match, added midweek (but not publicized.) Probably not airing.

Rudos won, but Terrible & Bucanero turned on Zacarias and Negro Casas post match. Members of Fuerza TRT do not want anything to do with other rudos.

Mr. Niebla did appear, pinning Psicosis for the win. Peste Negra took the last two falls.

Tecnicos took 2/3. After weeks of Dr. X messing with Fuego, Fuego pinned the doctor clean here.

Euforia replaced Misterioso. Tecnicos took it in straight falls. Polvora fouled Angel de Oro and took his mask; that might be next week's final Forjando un Idolo match up.

Rudos took falls 1/3, Volador beating Dorada and Atlantis submitted Panther in the third.

1) Bronco & Inquisidor b Bengala & Robin
In the third, Inquisidor got Robin with the Storm Cradle Driver, and Bronco submitted Bengala.
2) Dark Angel, Lluvia, Marcela b Amapola, Estrellita, Tiffany *
Marcela top rope double stomped Tiffany, then submitted her. Dark Angel submitted Estrellita. You don't want to be an Invasor in CMLL.
3) Pólvora b Delta [Forjando un Idolo, semifinal] *
Polvora goes onto the final in about 9 minutes. The Panther student used his counter dropkick and a nudo lagunero for the win.
4) Ángel de Oro b Fuego [Forjando un Idolo, semifinal] *
Angel de Oro won in about 7 minutes. Fuego tried to put on his figure four, but Angel de Oro small packaged him for teh pin. Panther and Ultimo Guerrero skrimished after he match.
5) Metro, Súper Porky, Valiente b Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Texano *
In the first, Bucanero pinned Super Porky, but Terrible and Texano beat up Monito and Tiger Hispano ruled it a DQ. (That goes counter to every other time they've beat up Monito.) TRT easily beat the tecnicos in the second fall. Tecnicos rallied in the third, Valiente diving on Bucanero and Metro on Texano, leaving Porky to roll up Terrible to win. TRT's first loss as a trio comes to Brazo de Plata (though they lost as a trio just before they got the name.)
6) Averno DQ La Máscara * *
Straight falls for Averno in a mask ripping match. Averno got the pin in the first, then forced La Mascara into fouling the referee (Tirantes) in a convoluted spot for the DQ. La Mascara challenged Averno for a mask match, Averno said NO.
7) Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas b La Sombra, Máscara Dorada, Rush *
Mr. Niebla did appear. Rudos took falls 1/3 for the win, all clean, working too well as a team to be beat.

Tecnicos took the final 2.
2) Guerrero Maya Jr., Hombre Bala Jr., Súper Halcón Jr. DQ Puma King, Rayo Tapatío I, Rayo Tapatío II *
Rayo Tapatios jumped Maya in the aisle and ripped up his mask. Bala's mask was untied. Tecnicos rallied to pull out the first fall. Rudos dominated the second, tecnicos came back, a Rayo fouled Maya as Maya took that Rayo's mask. Referee DQed the rudos. More mask match challenges.
3) Euforia, Hooligan, Loco Max b Molotov, Pegasso, Rey Cometa
Tecnicos won the first fall, but the rudos took the last two for teh win.
4) Black Warrior, Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro b Ephesto, Felino, Misterioso II
Tecnicos took the last two fall. Felino was in comedy mode.

Tecnicos took 1/3.
3) Guerrero Maya Jr. b Palacio Negro, Rey Cometa, Hijo del Signo, Magnus, Inquisidor, Hombre Bala Jr., Trueno [CMLL SL, torneo] *
Eliminations were Trueno (via Inquisidor), Hombre Bala Jr. (Magnus), Inquisidor (Hijo del Signo), Magnus (Rey Cometa), Hijo del Signo (Palacio Negro), Rey Cometa (Guerrero Maya), Palacio Negro (Guerrero Maya). Guerrero Maya used a move that sure looks a lot like a martinete on Palacio Negro, but no DQ was called. Palacio was stretchered out after the match.
4) Mephisto, Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi b Delta, Hijo del Fantasma, Metal Blanco *
Mephisto and Fantasma are suddenly back to feuding, how about that. Not that it's going well for Fantasma: Mephisto ripped up the tecnico's mask in the second fall and pinned him in the third.
5) Máximo, Rush, Strong Man DQ Atlantis, Rey Bucanero, Volador Jr. *
Rudos took the first, tecnicos the second, Volador fouled Rush in the third.

2) Dark Angel, Goya Kong, Marcela b Amapola, Estrellita, Princesa Sugheit *
1/3 for the tecnicas. In the closing sequence, Amapola took out Goya with a dive, and Goya's right leg got caught underneath her. She was stretchered out and taken to the hospital for observation.
3) El Alebrije, Histeria, Olímpico b Hijo del Fantasma, Sagrado, Valiente *
1/3 for the Invasors. Fantamsa took the swinging gate bomb in the third, and was pinned by everyone for the loss. Finally the Invasors have found the one guy they can beat!
4) Ángel de Oro b Pólvora [Forjando un Idolo, final] *
Switched around to the fourth match, so it will air on Televisa. First two falls were quick, Polvora using the nudo lagunero and Angel de Oro using a tapatia variant. Long third fall, Angel de Oro getting the win with a UG style front superplex. Sounded like a really good match, Polvora's best ever.
5) Héctor Garza, Mr. Niebla, Último Guerrero b Blue Panther, Strong Man, Súper Porky *
Rudos take 1/3, capitalizing on some tecnico miscommunication. Niebla & Garza double suplexed Porky for the win.

Straight falls for the rudos, Averno specifically. Averno shoved La Mascara off of him into Tirantes, and Tirantes called the DQ on La Mascara in the first. In the second, Tirantes slow counted Mascara on a casita, Mascara turned to punch him, and Averno fouled Mascara and inside cradled him for the quick three.

Astral replaced Mascarita Dorada
3) Virus b Fuego, Metal Blanco, Tiger Kid, Dragón Lee, Sensei, Súper Halcón Jr., Pegasso [cibernetico, CMLL SL, semifinal] *
Teams were Tiger/Sensei/Halcon/Virus vs Pegasso/Blanco/Dragon Lee/Fuego. Eliminations were Pegasso (via Dragon Lee), Halcon (Dragon Lee), Sensei (Metal Blanco), Dragon Lee (Tiger Kid), Tiger Kid (Fuego), Metal Blanco (Virus). Final two were Fuego and Virus, with Virus putting on a "Motocicleta" (one legged campana has a name!) for the win. Virus vs Guerrero Maya for the title next week.
4) Sagrado, Sangre Azteca, Stuka Jr. b Shigeo Okumura, Vangelis, Yoshihashi *
Tecnicos took 1/3. Sangre used the counter dropkick to beat Okumura. I didn't know tecnicos could use that move.
