1) Höruz & Robin b Bronco & Cholo * 
Horuz had his new mask on. He had a good day. No one else did. Cholo was hurt early and may have turned ligaments in his left knee. Bronco wrestled the last two falls by himself. The third fall lasted under a minute, with them going right to the finish (Robin coming up way short on a top rope splash on Bronco, then grabbing his head.) It is too bad LATV is no longer showing openers.
2) Dr. X, Hooligan, Nitro b Metálico, Starman, Tigre Blanco *
Tuareg took falls 2 and 3.
3) Dragón Lee & Volador Jr. b Hombre Bala Jr. & La Máscara [Gran Alternativa, eightfinal]
Dragon Lee did a SSP to the floor and Volador got Mascara about backcracker.
4) Máscara Dorada & Metal Blanco b Mephisto & Tiger Kid [Gran Alternativa, eightfinal]
Tiger Kid eliminated Puma in the battle royal. Karma paid him back with a loss here, even thought Tirantes was slow counting the rudos.
5) Negro Casas & Puma King b Guerrero Maya Jr. & Máximo [Gran Alternativa, eightfinal]
Double castias by the Casas for the win.
6) Averno & Palacio Negro b Black Warrior & Lestat [Gran Alternativa, eightfinal]
Rudos won. Black Warrior was very displeased and walked out on his partner after the match. Poor Lestat.
7) Máscara Dorada & Metal Blanco b Dragón Lee & Volador Jr. [Gran Alternativa, quarterfinal] *
Mascara Dorada dive plus Metal Blanco hurracrrana.
8) Averno & Palacio Negro b Negro Casas & Puma King [Gran Alternativa, quarterfinal] *
9) Máscara Dorada & Metal Blanco b Averno & Palacio Negro [Gran Alternativa, semifinal] *
Palacio Negro & Metal Blanco had hugged before the seeding battle royal, but found themselves on opposite sides in the final. Averno, killer of dreams, lost his mind and unmasking Dorada to cost his team the match and Palacio Negro a chance in the final. Averno challenged for a mask match with Dorada, and I hope he never gets it.
10) Rush, Strong Man, Súper Porky b Hirooki Goto, Mr. Águila, Olímpico
Straight falls for the tecnicos, Aguila and Olimpico taking the pin. Goto has got to find a better level of criminal to team with. Cancerbros have had a better year than the Invasors.

2) Dragón Lee, Hijo del Signo, Hombre Bala Jr. b Apocalipsis, Escorpión, Semental *
Rudos took the first, got DQed when Escorpion unmasked Lee, and Bala & Signo beat Apocalispis & Semental in the third.
3) Delta, Sangre Azteca, Stuka Jr. DQ Ephesto, Misterioso II, Pólvora *
straight falls. Misterioso fouled Sangre for the DQ, and stole his mask after the match.
4) El Alebrije, Histeria, Psicosis b La Sombra, Strong Man, Súper Porky *
Psicosis used the ropes to pin Sombra for the upset. Psicosis challenged for a title match. They just did that singles match in Puebla.
5) Rush © b Rey Bucanero [CMLL LH] * 
Dragon Lee was Rush's second, Zacarias was Bucanero's second. Rush won the first, Bucanero rolled thru a plancha to take the second. Zacarias used his pan on Rush in the third, and was ejected for it. Rush won shortly after. CMLL.com's recap says these two agreed to the hair match proposed last week, though no date.

1) Bengala & Leono DQ Cancerbero & Mortiz
Original rudo team with Camorra & Cholo, but they're both out with injuries. Cancerbero in the opener, incredible! Mortiz fouled Leono for DQ.
2) Dalis la Caribeña, Dark Angel, Marcela b Amapola, Mima Shimoda, Princesa Blanca * 
Amapola went for a Michinoku Driver on Dark Angel, but she reversed it to a rana for the win.
3) Pierrothito © b Astral [MEX LIGHT] *
Mortiz & Bengala were the seconds. Pierroth kept the title, winning the first and third falls.
4) Delta, Hijo del Fantasma, Metro b Euforia, Raziel, Vangelis *
Phantom Lariat on Euforia for the pin.
5) Valiente © b Pólvora [MEX WELTER] *
Seconds were Fantasma and Inquisidor. Polvora won the first with a Super Polvora Driver, but Valiente took the last two falls to keep his title. Said to be a very good match.
6) Blue Panther, La Máscara, La Sombra b Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero *
Tecnicos won again, and Mascara/Sombra challenged for a title shot. UG agreed for next week.
CMLL (FRI) 04/08/2011 Arena México [CMLL, ESTO]
Attendance: 4000
1) Metálico & Trueno b Inquisidor & Tiger Kid *
Neat headscissors/armbar submission by Metalico to get the win.
2) Ángel de Plata, Pegasso, Rey Cometa b Arkángel de la Muerte, Nitro, Skándalo *
While the other two did dives, Pegasso got Nitro with a Toyota roll for the win.
3) Hijo del Signo b Guerrero Maya Jr. [lightning]
Signo won via headlock takeover, with his feet scissoring the bottom rope, at 7:42.
4) Misterioso Jr., Pólvora, Shigeo Okumura b Metro, Stuka Jr., Valiente *
Valiente and Stuka set Misterioso and Polvora on the top rope, which backfired into the rudos landing their big moves (with some help from Okumura.) As they got the pins, Okumura put Metro in a figure four leglock.
5) Atlantis, Hirooki Goto, Negro Casas b La Sombra, Rush, Strong Man *
Atlantis replaced Mr. Niebla. Sombra dived on Goto, and Rush and Strong Man took out Atlantis & Casas with power moves at the same time. Tirantes slow counted, but the rudos still couldn't kick out.
6) Escorpión & Último Guerrero b Máscara Dorada & Metal Blanco [Gran Alternativa, final] *
Both rudos just cleanly landed their moves (quebrada, Guerrero Special) for the win. A spectator tried ran on the ramp and tried to climb one of the corners during the finish, but a security guy pulled him away.

Tecnicos took last two falls.
2) Goya Kong & Luna Mágica b La Comandante & Zeuxis
Goya Kong splashed the rudas for the win. Zeuxis has no more scheduled matches before she leaves for Japan.
3) Dragón Lee, Hijo del Signo, Hombre Bala Jr. DQ Apocalipsis, Rayo Tapatío II, Semental *
Rayo pulled Dragon Lee's mask for the DQ again. Even if they're not going to do the mask match, it's about time to do the Rayo Tapatios vs Dragon Lee/Hombre Bala match.
4) Ángel de Oro, Rey Cometa, Sangre Azteca b Skándalo, Virus, Yoshihashi *
Sangre Azteca and Virus squared off in this match.
5) Black Warrior, Strong Man, Súper Porky b Hirooki Goto, Terrible, Texano *
Rudos won the first, tecnicos last two.

Psicosis took the first fall, Sombra the last two.

Super Halcon Jr.'s debut in this buildiing.
3) Palacio Negro b Rey Cometa [Forjando un Idolo] * 
Palacio Negro (3) won his opening match over Rey Cometa (0), but suffered a cut over his head after a dive.
4) Ángel de Oro DQ Escorpión [Forjando un Idolo] *
Escorpion (0) lost by pulling Angel de Oro's mask (3). Coach Ultimo Guerrero was annoyed by this. He and Escorpion argued, then shoved, then Guerrero slapped his pupil in the face. They eventually shook hands, but were not happy with each other.
5) Hijo del Fantasma, Sangre Azteca, Súper Porky b Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto *
Porky sat on Averno for the win

Champions took the first fall, tecnicos take the second fall, stereo Guerrero Specials to keep the titles.

1) Molotov & Sensei b Apocalipsis & Mortiz *
2) Diamante, Fuego, Sagrado b Hooligan, Loco Max, Raziel *
Hooligan pinned Fuego and took out Diamante with a dive, but Sagrado submitted Raziel for the win.
3) Guerrero Maya Jr. b Metal Blanco [Forjando un Idolo] *
Metal Blanco went for the top rope 450 splash, landed on his feet, and fell forward into Maya's knees. Maya beat him with a devastating cradle DDT. Guerrero Maya starts off with 3 points, Gran Alternativa finalist Metal Blanco has zero. As customary, Shocker (in a suit) was at ringside for both matches.
4) Delta b Dragón Lee [Forjando un Idolo] *
Delta press slammed Dragon Lee, then added a top rope moonsault for the win. Delta wins to take the 3 points. Dragon Lee, 0, looked nervous.
5) La Sombra, Rush, Strong Man b Mr. Águila, Olímpico, Rey Bucanero
Sombra did the backflip into the moonsault on Aguila for the win. Tirantes was referee, but could not slow count the tecnicos enough to prevent them from winning.
6) Héctor Garza, Hirooki Goto, Volador Jr. b Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero
Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero had Garza & Volador in the Atlantidas, but Goto fouled Ultimo Guerrero and pinned him, and Garza used Atlantis' distraction to defeat him as well.

1) Disturbio & Mortiz b Freesbe & Príncipe
Mortiz replaced Semental
2) Dragón Lee DQ Rayo Tapatío II, Rayo Tapatío I, Hombre Bala Jr., Hijo del Signo, Inquisidor, Súper Comando, Súper Halcón Jr., Enrique Vera Jr., Artillero [cibernetico] *
Eliminations where Artillero (Halcon), Vera (Comando), Halcon (Inquisidor), Comando (Signo), Inquisidor (Bala), Signo (Rayo II). That left the Tapatios vs Dragon Lee & Hombre Bala, the core of htis feud. Rayo I beat Bala, but Dragon Lee defeated Rayo I and was enroute to beating Rayo II again when Rayo I ran back in for the DQ. Bala made the save.
3) Magnus b Ángel de Plata [Forjando un Idolo] *
Magnus (3) defeated Angel de Plata (0) with a la de a caballo. Maybe Magnus is just a tribute wrestler?

Counter dropkick for Polvora (3) over Fuego (0)

Niebla did appear. Negro Casas fouled Blue Panther, and they made hair vs hair challenges.

Dr. X unmasked Fuego for the DQ. Sensei replaced Angel Azteca.
3) Diamante b Hijo del Signo [Forjando un Idolo] *
Diamante [6] pretty much clinches advancement. Signo is stuck on 3.
4) Hombre Bala Jr. b Puma King [Forjando un Idolo] *
Puma [0] loses again, Hombre Bala picks up his first 3 points.
5) Rey Bucanero, Terrible, Texano b Delta, Metal Blanco, Valiente *
Rey Bucanero wore a Doble T shirt and the rudos had a bulldog with them for no apparent reason. Ideas! Dog = win.
6) Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas b Blue Panther, Rush, Súper Porky *
Rudos took the first, tecnicos the second and the third.

Tecnicos won fall 1 & 3. Metro has new white gear.
3) Escorpión b Rey Cometa [Forjando un Idolo] *
Escorpion [3] again pulled his opponent's mask, but this time got away with it to beat Rey Cometa [3] in 5:53. Ultimo Guerrero yelled at Escorpion again, but Escorpion laughed and did not care because he won this time.
4) Ángel de Oro b Palacio Negro [Forjando un Idolo] *
Palacio Negro submitted Angel de Oro, but Tiger Hispano waved it off, claiming Palacio Negro used an illegal choke. Later, Angel de Oro [6] reversed Palacio Negro's [3] campana into a mecedora for the win.
5) Blue Panther, La Máscara, La Sombra DQ Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto *
Tecnicos won 1 and 3, the last when Averno unmasked La Mascara. Averno told Mascara that was the only way the tecnico could beat him; Averno is to good for Mascara to legally defeat. Mephisto took La Sombra's mask after the match for good measure.
6) Héctor Garza, Hirooki Goto, Volador Jr. b Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero *
Hirooki Goto won the first fall by pulling off his partner Volador's mask and tossing it to UG to draw the DQ. Bit of genius there. Goto cleanly beat Guerrero in fall two for a straight fall win. Goto challenged Ultimo to a heavyweight title match, UG accepted, and it's on for next Friday - which is both Kid's Day and Arena Mexico Anniversary Day.

1) Apocalipsis & Ramstein b Freesbe & Robin
Ramstein beat Freesbe with a Michinoku Driver and may have KOed him.
2) Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II b Enrique Vera Jr. & Hombre Bala Jr. *
Straight win for the vets: clean win in fall 1, Rayos pulling an illegal switch in the second. Bala wants a mask vs mask match.
3) Dragón Lee b Guerrero Maya Jr. [Forjando un Idolo] *
Sounds like Dragon Lee blew a shooting star press near the finish. Might have supposed to be the finish, because Lee won with another top rope move soon after. Both have 3 points, and Maya was reported to be injured coming out of the match. Both guys have 3 points at the moment, but Maya will pick up this week's bonus point - he's way ahead - and be up to 4. That point might be crucial. Los Rayo Tapatios attacked Dragon lee after the match, but Hombre Bala made the save and they teased that tag match again.
4) Delta b Metal Blanco [Forjando un Idolo] *
Delta submitted Metal Blanco. Delta [6] is in control of the group. Blanco [1] isn't out because of that bonus point, but needs a lot of help.
5) El Alebrije, Misterioso Jr., Olímpico b Ángel de Oro, Diamante, Rush *
Olimpico reversed a roll up and uses the rope to pin Rush. Diamante was stretched out after a dive.
6) Felino, Mr. Niebla, Rey Bucanero b Black Warrior, Metro, Palacio Negro *
Pesta Negra took the last two falls. Mr. Niebla did appear.
7) Blue Panther b Negro Casas *
Panther took falls and 1/3 for the win. The two appeared to agree to a hair vs hair match.

1) Bengala & Cancerbero DQ Apocalipsis & Zayco
Cancerbero replaced Trueno. That ended poorly for Bengala, Cancerbero turning on him.
2) Estrellita, Princesa Blanca, Tiffany b Dark Angel, Estrella Mágica, Luna Mágica *
3) Pólvora b Ángel de Plata [Forjando un Idolo] *
Polvora [9] joins Delta as clean sweeping his group. Angel de Plata [0] was cut down with a dropkick for the loss.
4) Fuego b Magnus [Forjando un Idolo] *
Magnus [3] dominated the match, but Fuego [6] caught him in a submission for the win. Fuego advances.
5) Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro, Sangre Azteca DQ Ephesto, Euforia, Raziel *
Straight fall win for the tecnicos. Raziel fouled Sangre in the second.

Hijo del Signo [6] submitted Puma Kind [0] to move on.

Dimanate [9] pinned Hombre Bala Jr. [3] to complete his clean sweep. Signo moves on with Bala's win.
5) Último Guerrero © b Hirooki Goto [CMLL HEAVY] *
Rudo took the first fall, but UG came back to win the final two to keep the title. Goto fought off the Guerrero Special multiple times, but finally hit it for the win.
6) La Máscara, La Sombra, Rush DQ Averno, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas *
Despite Tirantes refereeing, the tecnicos still won in straight falls. Sombra pinned Niebla in the first, Averno was DQed for pulling Mascara's mask in the second. A lot of focus on Mascara vs Averno.
