This supplants the "NWA" title Guajardo & Anibal had been using. Anibal weighed in 80 kg, Guajarado at 82. Rene took 2/3, the last when he moved from a dive and Anibal was KOed, not returning in time.
5) Ray Mendoza b El Solitario [UWA LH]
finals of a tournament to determine first champion, with Rayo de Jalisco & Dory Dixon said to be competing in a previous round in Pachuca. Mendoza at 91.5 kg, Solitario 91. Mendoza took 1/3. This supplants the recognized NWA LH title Mendoza had been defending.
